Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account details from Clerk (email, name, auth identifiers).
• Deposit details you create (amount, client name/email, scope notes, deadlines).
• Payment-related identifiers from Stripe (connected account IDs, checkout session IDs). We do not store full card numbers.
• Payment method settings you configure (Interac, PayPal, custom links).
• IP address may be processed briefly for rate limiting and abuse prevention; we do not sell personal data.

How we use it

• To operate deposit links, checkout, and payouts.
• To send transactional emails (reminders, payment notices) when configured.
• To secure the service and prevent abuse.

Processors

We use trusted processors including Clerk (authentication), Stripe (card payments), our hosting providers, and optionally an email provider such as Resend. Their privacy policies apply to data they process.

Retention & rights

You can export your account data or delete your account from Settings. Deletion anonymizes your profile and cancels pending deposits. We may retain limited payment records (amounts, status, Stripe identifiers) as needed for legal, tax, or dispute purposes. You can also contact hello@byrah.com for access or correction requests.
