Byrah (“we”, “us”) provides deposit links for freelancers. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Information we collect
- Account details from Clerk (email, name, auth identifiers).
- Deposit details you create (amount, client name/email, scope notes, deadlines).
- Payment-related identifiers from Stripe (connected account IDs, checkout session IDs). We do not store full card numbers.
- Basic technical logs (IP, user agent) for security and debugging.
How we use it
- To operate deposit links, checkout, and payouts.
- To send transactional emails (reminders, payment notices) when configured.
- To secure the service and prevent abuse.
Processors
We use trusted processors including Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), our hosting providers, and optionally an email provider such as Resend. Their privacy policies apply to data they process.
Retention & rights
We keep account and deposit records while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, or dispute purposes. Contact hello@byrah.com to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable.
